Backgammon is one of the world’s oldest board games. It is a true classic with a huge worldwide fan base thanks to its perfect mixture of strategy and luck.

Once you have internalized the (simple) rules, you quickly realize that luck alone is not enough to ensure victory in backgammon. Tactics and strategy are at least as important: am I better off playing aggressively or defensively? Should I secure my own piece or hit my opponent’s?

With this version, you can now play backgammon alone against a powerful computer opponent anytime and anywhere. The difficulty level can be adjusted, which allows beginners to win games and professionals to compete with our intelligent computer opponent. This app also allows you to play directly against a human opponent.

-Classic design
-Powerful computer opponent (4 skill levels)
-Two-player mode
-Intuitive operation

Our backgammon will win you over with its attractive game design, easy controls and multiple configuration options.

Backgammon is the perfect game for anyone who enjoys chess, Reversi™, Othello™ or nine men’s morris. A must for all board game players!

Latest reviews of iBackgammon! (Golden Edition) app for iPhone and iPad

Crashing App
The application is not stable! On an iphone6 and and ipad 4, it continously crashes in the middle of the game. When you restart it, in order to resume the game you lose all the information (moves) previously made, so it becomes this visious circle where you have to replay the same dices. Quite frustrating...otherwise the interface is simple, but efficiently made...

Not longer playable.
Not good lol
Who ever programmed this needs to go back to school. Too hard to play with flashing men and yeah...its just bad.
Having some issues controlling.
I often find myself tapping two or three times trying to select a piece. I do have bigger fingers, but I have tried other backgammon games without issue.
